The first government aerial photos of Redcliffe taken on 10th November 1942 are now available to view. This is the first recorded set of aerial photos taken and the pre war images show a lot of pre war buildings including the newly constructed Rollerdrome (1938) Pier Picture Theatre (1942) , Scarborough Jetty (1935) Gorringes Lagoon at Woody Point is clearly visible and the lagoon at Scarborough.
